If you are looking for a way to connect or daisy chain multiple monitors to your laptop, then this is your solution. I have two displays and my dock only supports certain inputs (DisplayPort and USB-C) and one of my monitors only has an HDMI input. First, I bought a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to connect a monitor, but it wasn't as easy as I'd like. The monitor flickered frequently when I undocked the laptop, and I found that I had to reinsert (unplug/insert) the adapter to get it to display properly.
