We have four horses and have tried many types of slow feed pouches and nets over the past three years. This is one of the best hay bags on the market. The body of the bag is very well made. The weakest point of the bags are the straps (see photo) and specifically the way the D-rings attach. A simple improvement on the part of the manufacturer would be to sew the webbing next to the D-rings instead of tying them. Our four-legged horse Palomino managed to rip off the straps and rings the first day he ate out of this hay sack. All was not lost; Now we're going to use elastic cords instead of straps. However, for the price of this haysack, the straps should be improved. The velcro on the top of the bag works great for the first few days but after collecting the hay and dust the velcro becomes unusable. The pouch holds enough for one feeding per horse and is easier to fill than most. Another of our favorite slow feeders is the Hay Pillow. It is well made and keeps our horses busy for hours. I hope this review helps those looking for a solution to slow feed their horses.
