With my recent purchase of my HP Folio 2n1, I also had to deal with converting my old USB 2.0/3.0 connectors to the new USB-C standard. "My first thoughts. "What a pain behind it" but NOW I love the USB-C idea :-) This iSeeker flex cable has a stronger and more reliable connection/feel in my WD Wireless Passport Pro. HD and the best part of the entire USB-C genre; I can plug it into any of the three ports on my laptop! There's no right or wrong way, no need to turn it upside down, and it doesn't matter which port is for streaming and which is for charging. THEY ARE ALL INTERCHANGEABLE :-) This product currently has a solid 4.5 stars. Why not 5 stars you ask? IMO the cable would be PERFECT if it was about 2 inches longer. Aside from the length I haven't seen any issues with data transfer tasks, it's clearly visible, seems pretty solid and has worked as advertised so far; perfect :-) I also like the fact that the product was packaged in two (2) cables. This cable also works with my old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone :-) I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to years of productive use. from this point.
