I've reviewed many floating shelves and chose this one because of the shelf attachment design. This is one of the few models with screw mounts at the back of each shelf. When reading user reviews, a common complaint is that the shelves are loose or loosen over time. I learned this important fact from a user review so I thought it would be appropriate to write a review as someone took the time to write a very informative review that helped me with my decision. I would give it 5 stars except that the overall height is just over 18 inches. I was hoping it was a little longer. The shelves are made of tempered glass, but the bottom of the shelves is not smoky like the top. Installation was easy and after final assembly it has a nice form factor. It doesn't look bad on the wall.
