Came in vacuum packaging. I believe there is a separate bag to store or carry. As others have said, the blanket is very thin and not fluffy when first taken out of the bag. It doesn't smell much either. There was a bit of "lint" or dust when I fluffed it in the dryer before flipping it for 15 minutes per the care instructions. Fluffier after it was done, tumbled with some dryballs and then shaken on the bed. It looks wrinkled so I brought a duvet cover but to each their own. Also very warm and feels high quality. Highly recommended to buy!
