If you can get your dealer to program it, it works like an OEM.
My 2015 Ram 1500 only came with ONE key fob when I bought it used. Bought this from Revain and took it to the dealer. They said it might not work and I said if it's ok I'll send it back, if it's not ok I'll send it back. They programmed it and have done so for many months without any problems. My truck also has remote start and air suspension and everything works. PLEASE NOTE that these Ram Trucks can ONLY be programmed by a dealer or locksmith. The locksmith requires a truck specific dealer code, so a MOPAR dealer is your first choice. Call ahead and ask if they will program this fob as some dealers will ONLY sell you their 3 digit fob. Find one that can, then buy this keychain for 1/4 the retail price.
