Review on 🎧 KZ ZSX HiFi Earphones - 6 Drivers Hybrid IEM with Metal Panel and Detachable 2 Pin Cable, Ideal for Church Musicians and Bands (Cyan, No Microphone) by Ryan Whatley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You know KZ does it every time. Easy Win

Quick Pros and Cons Pros: - Incredible resolution and texture! (every detail of the instruments recorded in the song can be felt) - price! (I can say they are definitely better than my Shure/Weston headphones in the $120-ish range) - Small V-shaped EQ (suitable for most modern music) - Detachable, tangle-free cable Cons: - Not suitable for headphone monitoring (not flat) - bulky device size (although it's not heavy.) I said so! KZ does it every damn time! How do they get such quality of sound on such a budget? I started looking into budget headphones many years ago and when I tried the KZ headphones it seemed to me that the KZ were always ahead of the curve. Owned by KZ ATE, ZS10, ZST, ZSN. None of the headphones have ever let me down. Now I have this new ZSX with me, I'm happy again. I can say it's definitely not for surveillance. It has a V-shaped EQ that gives you a slight bass/treble boost. I don't know what KZ did, but I can say that the bass definition and texture is much better than the ZST. Certain attacks and textures give me ringing in my ears.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Weak Set
