I will not give a bad review as this was my first dermaplaning experience. Of course, I've been shaving my sideburns with a regular razor for decades. I watched a few tutorials on YouTube and that's it. It was very easy to use and I wasn't afraid to just cut my face but I have to say my skin looked TERRIBLE. Remember the days when your dad shaved with a razor and then came out of the bathroom with tissues all over his face? That happened to me. This only happened in the mustache area, which I regularly (daily) pluck on the chin and under the neck. That's all the places I pluck, I'm a hairy woman *eye roll emoji* After I got the bleeding under control and it subsided my skin felt amazing for a day or two. I still have to shave my sideburns every day (thanks to PCOS) and still have to pluck other hairy patches, and although my skin isn't smooth after the second day, my skin looks pretty good. I will continue like this. I might buy this insanely expensive one from Sephora to compare, if I do I'll update. I hope I don't look like Edward's scissorhands are going to attack me every time I try.
