Review on Lens Hood for Carl Zeiss & Voigtlander Prime Lenses: Haoge LH-ZV07P by Brent Ayyagari

I've bought many different Haoge lens hoods over the years and I always liked their design first, didn't the construction. Quality, construction and assembly are first class. I've decided to buy a round and a square for my 35mm Biogon and 50mm Planar 3M lenses but still can't decide which I like better. I like having both because it helps me quickly identify which lens is which when I pull them out of my camera bag as they look pretty much the same. Aside from the design, one of the standout features of these special lens hoods is the way they attach. They attach with a push and then pivot right onto the mount for a very tight and secure fit. I prefer a bayonet mount to a filter thread. The design also allows the use of a filter. If you own one of these Zeiss ZM lenses, I recommend these lens hoods to protect your investment and save money over a Zeiss branded lens hood.
