Review on 📺 Liger Ultra-Thin Indoor Antenna: Receive HD 4K Television Signals for Free!" by Jared Coleman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Clear picture and excellent product; Experimented for better reception.

Just install it and I'm happy with it! I just got a TV after months without it. Instead of subscribing to cable, I planned to subscribe to a streaming service (Hulu for TV). However, I then realized that the antenna could provide me with the main channels and that was all I wanted. Hence my experiment with this TV antenna! Distance/Range: First, I live in downtown Los Angeles (literally Hollywood, where the main studios are around the corner), but due to the location of the antenna in this area, the antennas are about 11 miles away. Instead of risking a 25 mile antenna, I went with this one (35 miles), to give yourself some room for manoeuvre. After installing the antenna I noticed I got something from Riverside (more than 35 miles away - closer to 60 miles actually) so the range is normal in my books. The product itself: It seems flimsy and fragile, but I think it works? I originally factored the included stand into my purchasing decision for this product. It took a little (careful) positioning and squeezing to get it on the stand. I ended up with MUCH better reception mounting it on the wall slightly above and to the right of my TV, so the stand was a moot point anyway. In addition to the desktop stand, hook and loop mounts and wall screw mounts are included. The cable seemed to be of good quality and fitted perfectly into my TV's coaxial input. Reception: Unpacked, put on a stand and placed on a TV table I got about 48 channels but neither ABC nor FOX fit. in. It took three more tries to reposition and scan the canal before I found the hanging wall mount was the best. Now I have 53 channels (do you think?) but most importantly the main channels are crystal clear (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX). Also some other nice ones like CW, ION, two PBS stations and a few random stations I've never heard of. I programmed my TV to block out channels I wasn't interested in (like some Spanish and religious channels) and now I have a TV, without having to pay for cables. Hooray! I also wanted to point out that I'm on the ground floor of a small apartment building. The other buildings in the immediate vicinity are mostly low rise, but less than a mile away (between me and the towers) there are a number of tall office buildings. All in all I can recommend this antenna.
