Recharging time shortening

I like the mirror, which is very clear, and the lighting. But I wish it were battery operated, since having to plug it in to recharge is a nuisance to me. Also, the time between charging is already shortening, and once the rechargeable battery stops working, no light. Currently I use it about 5 minutes a day and it used to require a charge about every 7 days. That has shortened to 5 days, and I haven't had it that long, which makes me concerned for the longevity. Although the description says it will flash a few times to indicate low battery, it just shuts off.

Pros
  • Excellent for gift-giving
Cons
  • The magnification may cause distortion around the edges
