The first device I plugged in got so hot it burned the surface it was on. I wrote that this is just a defective set. nope The next kit I got also gets hot as soon as you turn it on and once it gets hot they stop working. When I wrote to the seller he told me to put something under the unit to make sure it was well ventilated. i did this All the same effect. Then I went to friends house who also bought this product and have the exact same problem. So unless you plan on plugging and unplugging it every time you use them, they're useless.
