I bought them as gifts for my friends (friends) on New Year's Eve. They were not only surprised but also very pleased about it. It's one of those things you don't know you need until you really need it and nobody else has it. Having one of these on your keychain is extremely helpful when you need to open a beer and don't want to hurt yourself trying to open it because you don't have a bottle opener handy.
