Review on Charger Vympel 57 black by Janis Skrindzevskis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

Used 3 years. During this time, most of the time I simply and successfully charged the car battery. But it is worth noting some features of the memory. As a rule, a motorist uses a charger on an already running battery with partial sulfation of the plates. If you set the charge voltage and current as stated in the instructions, then the charger will display a charge completion message a little earlier than it actually is (in fact, as soon as the current drops and the charge is over message appears, the charge of the current capacity will be completed). Desulfation requires additional equipment and techniques, although the manufacturer could implement this in this device.

Pros
  • + Ability to adjust the current and voltage. +Automatic mode of operation after setting the required parameters. it is impossible to "kill the battery". + Protection against polarity reversal and short circuit. + High charging currents allow you to quickly charge almost any battery. +Charging current continues to be supplied even after CHARGING IS ENDED, until the current drops to 0A.
Cons
  • - Very sensitive knobs, hard to hit the right value. - noisy fan - Setting the current strength with 0.6A voltage with 7.6V (but this is important for non-automotive batteries) - you can not trust the inscription CHARGE ENDED. When the inscription appeared, the battery was not yet 100% charged (on a sulfated 60Ah battery, this inscription was shown at a density of 1.2 g / m3 and a current of 0.5A). - there is no sparkless connection (even if the charger is not connected to the network, sparks sometimes jump when the clamps are connected). - Shows the degree of charge in%, but this indicator is not true. - it is inconvenient to put the wires in the wire compartment -Slightly sometimes slightly overestimates the readings of the memory voltmeter

I liked it at work. the fan turns on infrequently, it does not make much noise.
