I got myself a few 15 mm long lens holders looked at mounts and realized that it should slide over the bars, not the bars inserted in it, otherwise you'll have to disassemble your setup each time (not an option). This fits snugly onto the rods and provides structure that reduces stress on the camera mount AND prevents the camera from twisting at the 1/4-20 threaded connection - at a great price.
