I took the risk of buying these headphones because sometimes I just need something that I can use without worrying about battery drain like Bluetooth or wireless headphones often do the case is. At first glance, they fit my criteria for a good pair of headphones perfectly. First on my list of things that make headphones usable are the cables, which need to be heavier than those fragile "skull candies" and iPhone types, which are so brittle that one side usually fails after a month or two. Then I should have an "L" type connector or at least a 45 degree connector. Because honest people always stand in my way or always push my side. And honestly I can't understand why they still make them. But the vast majority of headphones still use this clumsy, easily broken device. Second, no weird configurations or "ergonomic" designs. Because what might work well for someone else may not work well for another person. Also, no bulky, big, unusual shapes, or bulbous designs in the earbuds themselves. I like to wear mine to bed, and these huge ones are very bulky if you're trying to wear them with your head on the pillow. So they meet all my criteria and they also look really good. Also, the case is very good! The reason they don't get 5 stars is because where the wires enter the headphones there is no flexible, reinforced transition zone and there is no flex between the rigid tube. where does the cable go to you. The wires just go abruptly into a rigid tube. And to me it looks like a problem waiting to be solved. I will put my own flexible transition in this area. but I shouldn't have done that. In any case they seem like good headphones for the money but I probably won't recommend them or buy another set due to that one design flaw.
