Review on 🐝 Bee Paper Black Bristol Pad: A Superior Choice for Endless Creativity in 9x12 Size by Michelle Langley

Nice paper, stupid business strategy

Although I love paper, the company leaves a lot to be desired. It's missing the pack size and quantity - can I only get 18x24 in packs of 25 for over $100? What makes business sense when you look at the size and price of other lasts? If you calculate the price per sheet, 9x12 is about $1.20, 11x14 is about $1.60, 18x24 is 4.66, and 20x26 is 4.15. That's ridiculous, anyone with even a modicum of economics or math can understand - it's almost a brilliant idea to sell the most popular and sought-after paper size in just a 25-inch notebook at a ridiculous price, but you saving away for those of us who either want to try this size or those who can't afford to spend more than $115 for 25 sheets of paper. And since Bee Paper is the only company that sells this size (I wonder why retailers don't order this from them to see at retail - it can't be the MSRP which is over $130 on their website). There are other (BETTER) options like the Canson Colorline which is available for $2.5-$3.5 for a 20x25 sheet.

Pros
  • 12 sheets in a notebook
