I just received this unit in the mail after receiving my 4th gen iPad Air from another store last Thursday. I wrote the review in five minutes because that's how I approve of this purchase. I've been using Apple products for a long time and I'm always looking for the best case for my iPad. I bought an $80 case from Apple for my old iPad. I bought several online. I've tried them on occasion and within two months simply bought another one because they're cheap, poorly designed, and painfully unbalanced on the magnetic foldable cases I've had in the past. Then this jewel appeared. I think it's a little heavier than advertised, but not by much. It's still a lightweight case, despite the Herculean effort some reviewers have claimed to have put in. However. I know everyone here has had a constant struggle to find a level surface. It seems to be handling it well. Another surprisingly good thing that I've never seen is that the area that houses the case that fits on the outside of the device is easier to open and surprisingly easy to remove, despite being a VERY snug fit. You don't have to use your body weight to put it in place and you definitely don't need it to take it off. I repeat again. He won't slip! However, if you use appropriate pressure to push it out, it's easy.
