I'm new to firearms myself but I knew I needed a case. My criteria: Something to protect the gun - A place to store his gear - Can be travel locked and TSA approved - Sturdy and waterproof yet looks stylish - Protective yet easily accessible with no aggressive fasteners - Internal foam that I could customize for myself I've been looking at cases for a few days and settled on this Lykus case because it met all of those criteria and was a good price! I have to say this is a great opportunity! The foam was easy to set up and comes in two layers, allowing me to mount some items vertically to save space. One comment to consider: the foam is thick, which is nice, but my gun is relatively thin, which allows it to "wander" down the lid under the egg crate. So I'm going to cut the extracted foam in half to get the gun high enough to touch the cap foam - a bit of an issue for me. I love this case so much I'm buying it for my wife and her firearms! I recommend this case for anything thin or fragile and especially personal guns!
