This is a very good quality limb removal pliers. and plier-like link removal tools are far superior to those that have a single rod that you must use to pry the pins out. The only problem with this is that it's limited to watch straps with a maximum width of up to 21m or maybe 22mm (just over 1 3/4 inches). Many watches today are even wider for women and the trend is towards more watch straps. So this works very well as long as the strip is narrow and within that size. Most old watches, especially women's watches, will fit underneath. It cannot be used to remove pins at longer ranges. I love that this one comes with 5 extra pin sliders. They eventually break when you hit the push pins, so the extra pin pushers are a big plus. Pin pushers are much less likely to break when using plier style link removers than single shaft pushers.
