The packaging is very very shiny, sparkly and amazing. The ink keeps what it promises. If you are confused, use a damp cotton swab to clear it up. When it dries you need to use a makeup remover. Apply one coat, wait and apply another coat and if you have a small eyelash brush or comb use it to detangle the lashes between coats. I applied about 2 1/2 coats and my invisible lashes became visible and thicker! I would use this for special occasions. Better than putting on false eyelashes. (1 layer on the lower lashes)
