I first bought one of these fish hammers as a stick for all occasions. Very hard feeling and heavier than it looks. It was also aesthetically pleasing to the eye, with the bark still on it. Nice piece of wood. So we bought two more, one of them as a gift. But when they arrived (today) we were disappointed with their appearance. There's almost no bark, it looks like it's been sanded off, and it's mostly bare logs. They feel solid, but they're disappointing. First floor we got: 5 stars in all categories. We've ordered the next two: well, maybe 3.5 (depending on how much you care about wood aesthetics). A NOTICE. I have decided to downgrade my original 4 star rating to 3 stars. I can return two extra sticks.
