Ive never seen anything worse! A terrible purchase.

I purchased the two drives approximately four months apart from one another. The second drive, which had been purchased more recently than the first one, only functioned for a period of time that was less than two months. A positive aspect of the warranty is that it will refund your money. However, I wasted a significant amount of time and lost the data that was stored on the drive. The second one meets the same fate as the first. During this period, the servicing utility reports that the disk is in good health, and the amount of data that has been captured is less than 20 terabytes, which is 15–20 times less than what the manufacturer had declared. Around one year was the total amount of time that the disks were operational. Used as system disks for OS. It is determined that the disk did not overheat since there were radiators that prevented it from heating up to even 50 degrees and the case has been blasted through. I switched to a new brand, which came with a different controller and memory type; nonetheless, the speed and volume parameters remained the same. Let's see what else happens. The warranty is for five years, despite the fact that I chose Samsung in particular because it is less expensive than the more well-known brand. I was completely confident that it would continue to function without fail for the next four years, but as it turned out, neither of the disks worked. Both discs, however, were acquired from the same retail establishment; hence, it is possible that the entire batch is flawed.

Pros
  • quick
Cons
  • dies too rapidly.
