I bought two Haynes Cool Dri T-shirts and two X-Temp Performance T-shirts. I drive a pickup truck in the hot and muggy Alabama summer and need something with cool, moisture-wicking technology. Having tried both, I prefer Cool Dri. They're made from a smooth and shiny material that resembles silk, and the X-Temp fabric has a slightly fluffy feel, like brushed cotton. Because of this, Cool Dri seems cooler in my opinion. Both are long enough to be tucked into jeans or shorts, the Cool Dri sleeves are longer to be worn as an overshirt and the X-Temp is shorter and better suited as an undershirt. Both wicks wick sweat and dry quickly and won't show salt stains like dark cotton.
