. I'm revising my review because I like it a few times after using it and washing it in the dishwasher. It's lightweight, which is great for work. The size is perfect for my needs. Holds lots of food. Many days I eat part of my salad for breakfast and the rest for lunch, so I put 2 meals in one container. The lid was very difficult to open when I first got this but it got easier although still not very good. I have many OXO products and love them all, but this one is a failure. The lid of the salad bowl is difficult to open and I have to use so much force that when it finally opens it rebounds so much that I fear the food will fly out. Also, I find it almost impossible to open the small round dressing container. If I didn't have arthritis I might be able to do it, but it's not worth the pain so I threw it away. I can't say if they are tight as I haven't used them yet.
