Bought for a little 5 year old son. He is undergoing chemotherapy and his doctor warned me that he would be particularly prone to sunburn during treatment, particularly his small bald spot. It just fits. I hope it will last us through the summer as it is very good quality, looks cute on him, goes with almost all his summer outfits and most importantly he loves it :) Will have to find the same one when he grows up is ! I tried it on my medium sized 7 year old daughter out of curiosity and she is too small. I hope this helps other parents decide whether this hat is suitable for your child.
