Review on AVerMedia Live Gamer ULTRA GC553: 4Kp60 HDR Pass-Through Capture Card with Ultra-Low Latency for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X Recording and Streaming. by Chris Sanders

I bought this capture card because I started streaming Twitch constantly. The problem was that I was playing at 1440p 144Hz but wanted to stream at 720p 60fps. I had a choice: this card or Elgato. Since this card was $100 cheaper than the Elgato, I decided to give it a try. After installing the card and then installing the driver from the AverMedia website, I hooked up a 1440p monitor to the displayport and then ran HDMI 2.1 with video. to Live Gamer 4k on my streaming PC. I went into display settings and mirrored monitor 1 (1440p) to monitor 2 (AverMedia card). That's all. That works great. In OBS, I selected the AverMedia card as the video source and it picked it up right away. This thing is great as it allows me to play video at 1440p 144Hz but still stream it at a resolution and frame rate that a lot of people can see. quality in itself. I stream Monday through Thursday from 11am to 5pm EST on twitch.tv/kj_wicked.
