When I first received this Terapump, it had a crack in the neck of the pump. I asked for a replacement and the company sent it out pretty quickly. Everything went very smoothly! The replacement appeared to be in good condition and I checked it carefully before attaching it to my 5 gallon water bottle. I was skeptical because of the first defective product but this has turned out to be a wonderful and reliable product. You just press the black button, the pump starts pumping, and if you press the button again, not only does it stop, but it basically sucks up the remaining water and therefore doesn't drip. I used to have a hand pump I bought from a water bottle company for $15 that stopped pumping after a year. Even when I stopped pumping, water would still spill out and I always had to have a drip tray. I have to say that these pumps have been a good quality product so far and I'm very glad I gave it another try.
