LOSS OF MONEY 😔 for storage and organization

This bread bin was clearly an impulse purchase during quarantine when we thought we were baking and storing a lot of bread. We haven't baked a lot of bread, and even if we did, that would make about 2 loaves. We have a lot of bread like loaves, bagels and rolls so I wanted a bread bin but it didn't meet our needs. It's a big box, but just because it's tall it's pretty thin, which is good because it doesn't take up too much counter space, but it doesn't really do the job of holding much in my opinion. It looks good and is very solid, but the door is a pain. The sliding door sticks all the time, which I suspected would be a problem when I bought it, and it pains me to see that I was right. Includes wooden tongs which are handy for taking bread out of the toaster but aren't very wide so you'll have to fiddle with them to get the bread out. I would like to return, but already a year. I'd better find a basket or something for all our bread. Shame because I really wanted this product to work. 😔 If my review was useful to you, I would appreciate it if you click "useful" - thanks!
