I was a little hesitant to choose this item over a small rig cage but it turned out to be a good choice. The cage looks well assembled and I can access all the panels and knobs. The audio input panel is hardly disruptive as the camera strap mount can present issues, but this is only a minor inconvenience. I use a third party handgrip, a small top grip, a small cold shoe extender and a pistol mic and it all mounts nicely. I can only recommend this cage because of the good quality and the low price.
