When I received the product, I was a little afraid of its appearance. After I started using the table it became even more wobbly than my previous two tables, the first is aluminum with plastic hinges to adjust and the second is all wood. Both are now broken due to a product failure in the first and an accident in the second. This one is lighter than the other two and has a higher table angle than wood, so compared to wood it's more useful when used in bed and it's easier to adjust the angle or height of the table than my previous two tables, but only time will tell if it outlasts a wooden table. If it hadn't been for the accident, the wooden panel would still be in use today.
