I wanted to put exterior backup lights on my truck because I like to reverse my driveway which is winding and on a hill. I came across these lamps by accident. I really liked the idea that I didn't have to drill holes in my truck to install extra lights or tear through the wiring harness to find the right wires to connect for the backup function, so I gave that a try. I installed them for several months and still love them very much. They do the job I needed them for, meaning they really light my path and allow me to maneuver through the trees and the curves leading down my driveway at night. Another added bonus is that I don't have to maintain another fixture on my truck, they just plug into the same outlet that the old lightbulbs came from. I wish I could find such a simple solution to all my problems. My mechanic asked me about the bulbs, they turned the truck over in broad daylight and saw how bright they were. Good product!
