With the ongoing pandemic and the need to do more computer work at home, I realized I needed a better home setup, so I decided me for a laptop stand. That way I won't have bad posture if I sit at home and stare at a computer all day. Package Contents: The laptop stand came in a plain plain brown box with a small instruction manual. It came with three metal parts that were very easy to put together and I did it all without any tools. The entire installation took just under three minutes after I wiped everything down with a sanitary napkin. Pros: I love that this particular stand is height adjustable so I can adjust the knob on the back of the stand to the height I want. . The metal stand is fairly solid and well built, and the bottom of the stand is flat enough to be almost flush with my desk so it doesn't get in the way. If you place a keyboard under the stand, then the base of the stand is practically unobtrusive. Cons: Almost every product has one or two little things that make it a little less than ideal. What I noticed after a few weeks of using this product is that the side hinges get in the way when typing on my laptop, but I think it should keep the laptop from sliding off the stand. . Another small detail is that you have to turn the knob on the back of the stand quite a bit, otherwise it may decrease the height when you type on your laptop on the TOP of the stand. Both of those issues were resolved after I decided to tuck the keyboard under the stand, and voila, no more pesky hinge and height issues. All in all a pretty solid product for those who only have one laptop at home and like being able to watch their computer at work from a higher height without having to use stacked textbooks as laptop stands :)
