Not at all what I expected.Terrible!

Probably with no product I have had so many problems as with this monitor. You won't get bored with him. The fun started from the very beginning and continues to this day. Samsung delayed my pre-order for "additional quality checks", but this did not stop them from delivering a monitor to me with a defect that probably affected half of all early copies - a peeling matrix. But the problem was solved quickly - the master came and replaced the matrix. The real problems started later - squeaking and flickering in HDR mode. This was solved by ating the software, which I had to fiddle with - the monitor is very capricious in terms of flash drives. After the ate, it started flickering in AdaptiveSync mode. Which, as support told me, is generally normal behavior. After a couple of months, this was finally fixed in a software ate. But the most annoying thing I encountered was a squeak when working in native resolution and 240Hz. After several calls to support and visits to the master, they told me that the sound was within the normal range (and the norm was 35db), and nothing could be done about it. I had to use 120Hz, although the video card allows. There was another problem - the Valve index did not work if the monitor was turned on at the time of its launch. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Fortunately, after the next ate of Nvidia drivers, the squeak disappeared (almost a year after the purchase!), Index also now works without problems. But the monitor began to lose signal from the PC if it turns off the screen when idle. Only restarting the entire computer helps, I had to turn off screen blanking. As a result, although the main jambs that I encountered were fixed, it is very difficult to recommend. If you buy, be prepared for surprises.

Pros
  • Royal diagonal, curvature, 240Hz.
Cons
  • Very problematic, raw software even after a year.
