Sturdy glass jars
At the moment after two weeks of use they seem to be quite durable. I'm a clumsy guy and dropped them an inch in the sink while they were lathered, no problem. The plastic lid fits well and seems waterproof upside down, although I probably wouldn't use it for anything liquid just because it's the wrong shape for soup or pudding. The glass part can be washed in the dishwasher, which is important to me. My husband was happy, which is good because he's someone who always forgets to get his lunch boxes out of the car, which means they absolutely have to go in the dishwasher or bleach bath afterwards, which glass can handle. I'll update if there are any unpleasant later discoveries.
