I'm a real fan of blades, but I chose electric ones for convenience. Over the years I have used different types of electronics, some of which were significantly more expensive than this device. I chose this one in case I still shave with blades; at least i wouldn't have invested in an expensive device. It's been a few weeks. I'm no expert, but I see no difference - this electric still doesn't come close to the cleanliness of a fresh shave with a new blade - and neither do the expensive ones. Meanwhile, it takes less than half the time and no cuts or cuts.
