I needed a long HDMI cable to connect a remote PTZ camera to my desktop and it worked great. I was dealing with video latency over POE which was causing some headaches. Of course, once connected, the video is immediately available, but more importantly, the computer's input card doesn't have to spend time determining whether or not a valid signal is present. You can see it right away and I didn't have any fallout. Being fiber it is of course a single ended cable but each end is clearly labeled so installation was easy as well. Plug it in and it just works. What's not to like?
