I'm not a runner but these are great shoes! I hardly had to break it in - it fit me perfectly straight away. It's not overly heavy but is well made and durable and offers a good grip, especially when compared to cheaper shoes. The sole is very thick and gives a "bouncy" feel when walking, which is great for those who walk/stand a lot for work. I bought women's shoes in size 11 and they fit me perfectly. I had no trouble breaking in my shoes - no blisters or pain. I noticed that the reviewer said they don't consider these Under Armor authentic - it depends on who is selling the shoes through Revain. Do not buy if you do not know the seller listed. Mine was "sold through Zappos, marketed through Revain". Zappos is a big trusted online retailer and I know these are genuine Under Armor sneakers. I can absolutely recommend this shoe. Worth the price especially if you are used to wearing cheaper shoes without support.
