Lovely fabric - too big for my dog

I read a review where someone was happy to order an extra size. and a review saying they had to take some of the stuffing for their dog. So I ordered a big one because he doesn't like too small a bed. he is too big. a child could sleep on it. So I ordered a sewing machine so I could cut (everything) it and remove most of the padding (which I'll save for later if I need it. I'm very glad I didn't order a beanbag).
