This kettle was a replacement for a kettle we bought from another seller and it is SO pretty. It's higher quality with a heavy, durable copper construction. Handmade in Turkey, it is a true work of art. I like to see little evidence of handwork like hammered nails and how things are fastened. Other reviewers say it's not solid copper, but they're wrong. It is 100% solid copper. It has a liner for safety and health reasons as we boil water in it, but it's definitely a 100% copper construction. We have a copper sink so I know how this detail will change over time and I look forward to every step. The patina and color change make it even more special!
