This cable is very well made and has eight strands of copper and silver plated wire in a braided pattern. The straight 3.5mm plug is durable and the Y plug is made of aluminum. There's no slider, but luckily the cord doesn't get tangled. The cable is very flexible and can be carried up or down very conveniently. It was beautifully presented in a black box with a round window. In terms of sound quality, the cable was used with my Senfer DT6 triple hybrid headphones (worn cable) and there was an immediate improvement in soundstage width and depth. High frequencies are sharper and more extended, and detail has been increased. The improvements were mostly in the upper frequencies, while the bass and mids were unaffected, although the overall improvement in clarity was evident. I also tested it with my Zodic ET2201 in-ear headphones and the results were similar, in this case it slightly reduced the V-profile, making the sound more balanced. I also bought a 2 pin version which I installed on my CCA C16 headphones. In this case, in addition to the improvements listed above, there was an increase in the height, depth and width of the soundstage, and the audio became more focused, as if a better lens had been used in the camera. The impedance of this cable was spot on for the C16s as I could now crank my Fiio A5 amp down to low gain and keep the same level and detail. Bring back the potential of headphones.
