The headphones stick out significantly in front of the ear and are consequently extremely bulky. It wasn't a big deal until I reached up and accidently knocked the earpiece off my head. After that, the headphones only performed poorly when used in pairs. Instead of sending the headphones in for repair and waiting weeks for them to be fixed, I opted to purchase wireless single-earbud alternatives like AirPods.
