This thing is rolled into a tight cylinder. Unwrap it and let it sit and it will swell well. It's a fair 17-inch Gothic and the fabric seems pretty decent, if not waterproof. The padding could be a little tighter, I'm concerned about durability if you're really going to be using this to sit or kneel. (My intended use: to protect my arthritic knees when I have to crawl under desks in my home office to work on cables, clean, or otherwise sit on the floor as at 67 I'm just not that good with hardwood floors .Unfortunately the stitching is sloppy and sloppy enough to detract from the review.One stitch (the one used to fill the pillow and then sew it back on) looks unfinished and has a long rope hanging from it.My wife is a head factory and thread specialist so I will ask her to check it when she gets up and make adjustments accordingly.Another minor issue, the packaged cylinder is taped in the middle around the plastic bag it comes in. This has caused the Cushion fabric to I have a crumpled strip down the middle and it didn't stretch K kinda comes out For my intended use it's not a big deal but if you do it intend as a decoration, it looks a bit tired and a bit worn because of the folds.
