I like the idea. This should be a working solution for transporting bikes in a pickup truck. But the fact is, it doesn't work. The foam "mounts" aren't strong enough and both bikes I put in the rack just fell off as soon as the pickup started moving. I solved the problem with ratchet straps and elastic cords. By attaching each bike to the respective side of the pickup truck with a ratchet strap and then bungee cording the bikes together, they managed to stay upright. Better than nothing. On the other hand, the company must incorporate another 8-inch connector identical to those already available to secure the rack once assembled. Either way, it lacks stiffness at the top.
