Review on 12' X 12' X 12' Beige Sun Shade Sail Canopy With Commercial Grade Hardware Kits - For Patio, Garden, Outdoor Facility And Activities By Windscreen4Less. by Josh Schweitzer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very happy with this shade. Bought a second just to have on hand!

Works great to keep sun out of small fish pond, reducing algae issues. Held up great so far for one summer season. I removed it for winter but it didn't show signs of wear from its normal use. Looks as if it should last me a few seasons. I actual bought another replacement one now just because It took a bit of research to find what I wanted and the price was right! So when this does wear I'll have another to hang up, that's how much I like it!I used a turnbuckle kit found also on revain and bought stainless steel bolts from my hardware store to install one on my house, one on a tree and the third on my pergola. Due to the "triangle" created by the location of my attach points (my tree didn't work with me on where it grew up 40 years ago) was not in the same matching shape as the shade, I was worried it wouldn't line up. But with a little playing around with different lengths of rope I was able to manipulate it around to where it worked just fine!I did wear a 1 1/2" hole through the shade where, when the wind was really blowing on it up and down, it was snagging on a sharp metal corner of my gutters. Certainly no fault of the shade. That said, due to its woven properties, the hole has not gotten bigger and I weighted that side down with a rope that now minimizes the up down movement in the wind, plus I pounded the sharp gutter corner down too.
