So my daughter is a bit petite and she is 7.5 years old and 7 years old fit perfectly. I was worried that a 6-7 would be a bit small so I ordered a size 8-9 and it's quite large. I would be ok with 6-7 I think because the dress goes down 3/4 of the calf lol. But the dress is really cute and it's $10. The material reminds me of thicker spandex. but fidgety! Hope that helps.
