This product is perfect for those who don't want to carry a heavy external hard drive with them everywhere. For example, I like to take my Macbook Air to the library, school and other random places, so I didn't feel comfortable taking my hard drive with me. Sure, a hard drive can give you more storage, and that might seem like a "best deal," but knowing that it's so compact you won't even notice it's there is what made me buy it prompted. I was able to transfer all my photos, some files, some applications to this JetDrive. Everything went great and I had no problems with it. If you are someone who uses an SD card slot then I would recommend just buying an SD card slot for a USB reader as this product is not intended to be plugged in and unplugged constantly. Overall, I definitely recommend this to anyone who just needs a little more space.
