My old kitten has arthritis, is slowing her movements and avoids jumping on furniture, so I bought her a tube of this hip and joint brace. It focuses on glucosamine and also contains methionine, cranberry extract, hyaluronic acid, plus some oregon grape root and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). This is quite similar to the supplements we humans take for our own joints. I also like the addition of cranberry extract. I don't know what it does for arthritis, but we usually give it to a few kittens who were very prone to UTIs before taking cranberry extract. The kitten in distress started running faster and jumping normally again before we were halfway down the tube. This is good stuff. She loves it. In fact, the only problem with him is that all six cats will eat him if given the chance. If I could afford it I would leave her as it is a good addition.
