our baby loves it. It's very funny to see him playing with it and giggling about it. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but makes it easier for a toddler to pick up (it still needs two hands). It works in all sorts of modes and has a sleep mode. The only thing we don't like is the sound. Most of the time we have no idea what he's saying. He makes some noises and squeaks, but also says something in a Chinese-accented voice in English. We have no idea what he's talking about. Words are a little muffled and there's no volume control. Even if we don't always understand it, it's fun to watch and my little ones' reaction is the best! It's worth it for that alone. Your cat will probably love it too!
