The leather case is not a metal case. A big plus over others is that the back is flat, it easily mounts front to back on the server. But it's the circuit board (matte black looks cool) on the back. There is glass on the front of the LCD. Works great in NY Raspberry Pi, I'm happy with the quality. Cole really needs a reboot, I don't know anyway.
